API Reference

Three interfaces make up the Simple Cloud API:

Each interface represents a common class of application services in the cloud. The Simple Cloud API provides a simple interface with adapters for the corresponding services available from all major cloud vendors. We provide adapters for the following services:

Storage API

  • Amazon S3
  • Windows Azure Blob Storage
  • Nirvanix
  • Local
  • Rackspace Cloud Files
  • GoGrid Cloud Storage

Queue API

  • Amazon SQS
  • Windows Azure Queue Storage
  • Local (via Zend_Queue)

Document API

  • Amazon SimpleDB
  • Windows Azure Table Storage
  • Local
